The Prodigal
Wild and bitter -- a prodigal, prodigious weed,
Pushing toward the light, born only to scatter seed.
In foolish wanderings
Among broken roots,
Bounty exists
In ditches,
In vacancies.
Overgrown children
Revel
In life's extremities.
Pushing toward the light, born only to scatter seed.
In foolish wanderings
Among broken roots,
Bounty exists
In ditches,
In vacancies.
Overgrown children
Revel
In life's extremities.
