Haikus at the end of summer

i am resounding
in the meadow morning, with
golden rye and turkeys
***
a foggy morning,
the atmosphere broke and let
loose the sun's warm breath.
***
i got lost and lost
the pretty turkey feather
with tan and brown stripes.
***
the deer flick their white
tails, bounding brown through the brush.
beat it, you fuckers.
***
the sun lowers slow,
makes trees' shadows long, black stripes
across the still ground.
